“Organize your life now so you don’t look back in five years and realize chaos and clutter planned your life for you.” — Organizing Her Life
Launched in 2018, Laura Souders’ book entitled Organizing Her Life hit bookshelves across the United States. From the creative mind of Laura herself, the book was well-received, earning praises from book critics and readers alike. The book has one main purpose: to educate and inspire people about the importance of organization not just with their physical belongings but within their lives as well. Today it’s celebrating its 3rd year anniversary.
The Inspiration
Laura started her career and business, Healthier Spaces Organizing, in 2013. She set out on a mission to help clients organize their spaces and create healthy environments to save time, money, and energy. Her unique business not only helps her clients organize personal belongings but also helps the environment through the proper disposal of unnecessary items. The nature of her work stems from the notion that organizing one’s mind and then their physical space will relieve anxiety, stress, and above all, clutter.
Through her work and experience, Laura was able to come up with enough content to start writing her book, Organizing Her Life. The book showcased how to use the unique system that she created and developed: Set Goals, Purge, Conscious Placement, and Maintenance, leading her clients to organize their homes—which eventually also helped organize their lives.
The Book
Laura explained that what’s written in the book is what she applies in real life. It’s more than just being a guide for readers because she personally applies the same principles written in it. She’s amazingly able to balance her time being a wife and a mother of three children while doing her work as an organized spaces specialist.
An organized and healthy environment always leads to a comfortable way of living. There is no clutter, no litter, and no unuseful things lingering in the surroundings. The book inspires people to set goals and achieve them to progress for a better life.
The book isn’t your typical “organizing” book. It’s a true story of the dramatic steps I took to clear physical and mental clutter from my life. It encourages the reader in an easy-to-read story format, with thought-provoking questions.
After reading the book, “you will reconsider the stuff in your life, whether physical or mental and be inspired to make a change. Start now. Don’t wait one more day to take the steps to create your perfect life.”
The Praise
The book, Organizing Her Life, has gained attention and received praises from book critics and readers. Just like what one of the readers stated, “Admittedly, when I bought this book I thought it would give me room by room instructions for how to organize every space in my house. In a way it is that, but it is so much more. I have described this book to friends as a cross between a personal memoir and a de-cluttering self-help book. Laura’s book is an inspiring story of the journey towards happiness and self-fulfillment by simplifying our surroundings and unburdening ourselves from all the things that weigh us down, not just the clutter in our homes, but the clutter in our day to day lives.”
The book has almost consistently remained in the Amazon top 20 for 3 years and it was an Amazon best seller!
